Game of Thrones [Staffel 2 & 3]

In meinem Kopf vermischen sich die zweite und dritte Staffel irgendwie. Oder sollte ich sagen dass die zweite recht langweilig war und ich mehrere Anläufe brauchte? Das war sicherlich so. Vor kurzem hatte ich sogar noch mal nachgelesen wer in der zweiten Staffel gestorben war, und das mit der komischen Stadt in der die Drachenmutter war hatte ich schon wieder verdrängt gehabt lol

Und so bin ich leider auch mit einer recht miesen Einstellung in die dritte Staffel gegangen und brauchte für jede nächste Folge eine rechte Überwindung, was aber auch darin bestand dass es sehr viele Handlungsstränge gab die mich überhaupt nicht interessierten.

Aber mit einem Mal hat sich das komplett gedreht und ich schaute mir wirklich eine Folge hintereinander an. Das Gute bis jetzt ist dass Niemand meiner Lieblinge gestorben ist. Das mit der Mutter der Starks fand ich dennoch sehr traurig!

Und das Ende war wirklich gut wie die Khaleesi die nächsten Sklaven befreit hat und sie in die Luft gehoben wurde. Zusammen mit der ansteigenden Musik war das ein wirklich guter Abschluss zur dritten Staffel!

Game of Thrones Season 1

I did it! I've done it! I've finally finished the first Season of Game of Thrones. It's a really good Season to start. Especially because there aren't too many characters / storylines going on at once haha

For now my favorite characters are still alive. Almost. What the hell is wrong with this Series!? There are too many characters who die. And some of them pretty quick after they got introduced. I hate it. It's so sad! I don't even get why I am watching this at all!

Season 1 spans a period of several months on a world where the seasons last for years at a time. The action begins in the uified Seven Kingdoms of Westeros as the long summer ends and winter draws near. Lord Eddard Stark is asked by his old friend, King Robert Baratheon, to serve as the Hand of the King following the death of the previous incumbent, Eddard's mentor Jon Arryn. Eddard is reluctant, but receives intelligence suggesting that Jon was murdered. Eddard accepts Robert's offer, planning to use his positions and authority to investigate the alleged murder.

Meanwhile, on the eastern continent of Essos, the exiled children of House Targaryen, which Robert destroyed to claim the throne, are plotting to return to Westeros and unseat the 'usurper'. To this end, Viserys Targaryen arranges the marriage of his sister Daenerys to Khal Drogo, the leader of 40.000 Dothraki warriors, in return for the use of his warriors in invading Westeros. For her part, Daenerys just wants to find a safe refuge far away from King Robert's assassins and her brother's scheming ambition.

Finally, on the northern-most border of the Seven Kingdoms the sworn brothers of the Night's Watch guard the Wall, a 300-mile-long colossal fortification of ice which has stood for thousands of years. The Watch defends the Wall against the depredations of the lawless wildlings who live beyond, but rumor speaks of a new threat arising in the lands of perpetual winter.
